FIATA supports Indonesia’s new regulation PMK No. 86/2025, stating it can significantly improve national logistics competitiveness by making the National Single Window (LNSW) more adaptive and innovative.
The regulation strengthens LNSW’s role in digitalization and efficiency, including the creation of a Logistics System Development sub-directorate to improve IT-based processes, real-time tracking, digital cargo databases, and AI powered customer services.
Successful implementation is key, as previous surveys showed INSW improved time and cost efficiency, but system issues remain; FIATA emphasizes that effective execution will determine whether the new regulation truly enhances ease of doing business and supply chain performance.
